I think the easiest way would be to create a delete filter for any email NOT originating from that email address.

In your gmail account:

Click Settings, the  Filters tab.

Create a new filter.

From:  put the email address of the person you want to receive email from in parentheses with a negative sign in front, eg:

From: -(andrew at howlett.net)

This means "not from andrew at howlett.net"

Click Next Step

Check the "Delete it" checkbox.

Click Create Filter.
